Consulting Services Overview

EECG can help you achieve your goals more effectively and more efficiently.  Through a systematic review of all or part of your organization, we will help you identify needed changes and help you implement ways to move forward.  The result is an organization that is doing a better job in achieving its goals with reduced operating costs.

Here is how we operate:

Based on a review of your organization’s desired outcomes, EECG examines the processes and the administrative systems you have in place to support achievement of program objectives and business results.  Through systematic analysis while working together with your staff, EECG identifies opportunities for improving effectiveness and efficiency in your organization.  We then identify specific strategies and resources that will help you realize these improvements.  This includes clear articulation of training programs and resources that will enable the achievement of the desired changes with strong support and buy-in from your staff.  A process for monitoring successful implementation of the improvement plans is also proposed.

EECG’s systemic approach can be applied successfully to an entire organization or just one facet of its program.  Whether it is top-to-bottom review of your organization designed to cut costs and increase effectiveness, development of a new program to reach recently identified priorities, or a strategy for improving the funding foundation your organization is built on, EECG can help—smoothly, collaboratively, and with your needs always in mind.

The Process

Whether it is a review of your entire operation or an implementation of a specific training program you have identified, EECG uses the same systems approach.

·        First, EECG core staff works with you to ensure that we completely understand your needs and interests.

·        Next, EECG proposes a plan of action and develops a contract for services.  At this point, EECG may propose additions to the core team from its Consultants’ Roster, depending on the particular requirements of the job.

·        EECG then works with you to ensure that the contract is feasible and desirable for your organization and the job you need done.  If funding is a problem for the work desired, EECG can work with you to implement specific fundraising strategies to ensure that your organization can move forward as it wishes.

·        EECG then implements the contract in a collaborative, cooperative, and open manner.  Though discussion with your board and staff members, analysis of programs, review of administrative techniques, etc., EECG helps identify what changes will improve effectiveness, help you do your job better, and save you money.

·        EECG then prepares an extensive report that we review with you and adjust as needed to ensure it meets your needs.  The report will include a summary of background research, findings from the review, recommendations, and specific suggestions on training needs or system changes.  The report also will include evaluation techniques to help you know when planned changes have been successfully implemented and desired results achieved.

·        If desired, EECG can then conduct training in almost all avenues of organizational management in order to help staff implement needed changes.  EECG can also help with new planning processes or other infrastructure development activities.
